Okay, for anyone wanting to do this program and you haven't worked out that much before, plan on doing the 1st week twice! I started this program two weeks ago and didn't realize how much pain I would be in after the Plyometrics day. My lower body was on fire for three days! It was so bad I took a day off of work to recoup! So, I decided to start the 1st week over again once the soreness went away. So last week wasn't too bad. After familiarizing myself with the DVD's and what exercises I would have to do, it went pretty smooth. But, I was used to doing cardio on an elliptical machine 5 days a week for 45 mins a day. I'm not as hardcore as some of you might be but I missed doing the elliptical. I would get up a 5am to workout and found that by about 6:15 I was done. I have to be at work at 7am so it was working out pretty well. But, I was missing my elliptical so beginning this week I started getting up a 4:30am and doing 30 mins on the elliptical and then doing the P90X workouts. Not sure if this is recommended or not but so far it's working for me. Now, obviously on the days that cardio is scheduled I would skip the extra cardio. But, I feel that I'm getting a better workout because I'm more warmed up, especially at that time of the morning, and I feel better while doing the exercises. It is intense and I look forward to seeing the results within the next month. Good luck to anyone wanting to start this program, but you have to be dedicated!!
Oh, by the way, I'm not following the meal program. Couple of things wrong with it, first, you have to be rich to afford all the different foods. Second, you have to have PLENTY of time to prepare the meals. And third, you have to LIKE most of the choices they have. I know you will get the body they say you will get by eating properly but if you work or have children then it's almost impossible to do. Plus, you have to have a refrigerator big enough to hold all of it or you will be going to the store every other day!
I'll keep you posted on my success, and failures, and hopefully it will make a difference. See ya!!
